It is not easy to start a business and then see it flounder. It is also not easy to continue to build up your business when each time you try to improve on your earnings, pennies happen. You can try to argue that pennies will build up over time, but your logical thinking part of your brain can make this a challenge.
If you make one penny a day and with sites such as Google AdSense where the payout threshold is $100 dollars, you will find that in about 4 years, you will get the first payout. That is of course if you continue to make a penny a day. This is not why you singed up to any program in the first place.
You want traffic, you read about how others are getting traffic to their websites and blog, and you try to do exactly what they tell you to do. You stare at stats and at Google analytics until the numbers you are getting numbs your mind.
What you want to do is improve your earnings with any website you are not, without losing the reason why you came in the first place. So let us take the first little bit and ask this question: How do you intend to make money with say Google AdSense in a month? For this example, let us place to make $50 a month. This is doable and very easy and within 60 days, you will have a payout for your business.
Writing an article can get you traffic, or adding an online article you have spent time writing on to the social networking sites is a start but you have to think a bit bigger, most people have blogs, and often have a good deal of traffic to them, why not add some links there?
The idea with this method is creating links to your work and all the while increasing your standing with the search engines. This is a better and faster method than simply placing your work on social networking sites, which may or may not make you money that you want.
Next, you will need to look into the article directories; you will need to think of more than three directories for this to be effective. It is not so much the links but rather the number of links and the number of directories you use over time. This is a good strategy since the search engines like backlinks. In this way you will increase traffic from one very important source: that of the search engines.
